MADE IN EUROPE
We ensure that we are creating a considered carbon footprint by partnering with local European manufacturers. This reduces transport emissions whilst certifying that working practices meet the EU’s requirements for health, safety, and environmental protection standards.
RESPONSIBLY MADE
The materials we use are designed to protect the earth and deter wastage. All our garments contain a lining made from ECONYL®, a yarn made from 100% regenerated nylon derived from industrial waste. ECONYL® is twice as resistant to chlorine, creams, and oils which means our swimwear longevity is unparalleled compared to others on the market. We also implement cupro, a cellulose fabric made from cotton waste that would otherwise go unused.
ECO CONSCIOUS
We understand that the fashion industry needs to make actual and quantifiable changes that are transparent for our consumers. That is why here at BAÍAH, we have pledged to donate 1% of all sales proceeds toThe Planet Income Fund, an organisation that drives positive change for our planet and future generations.
FOR THE BETTER OF OUR PLANET
FAIRTRADE POLICY
We want to contribute to building a stronger and fairer global community. We are proud to be able to ensure that all of our workers within our supply chain have access to equal opportunities, and are paid above minimum wage in tandem with Fairtrade procedures.
MINDFULLY SOURCED
We certify that all our partners within our supply chain share our commitment to the planet’s protection. We have partnered with a local, London-based design house who are ESGmark accredited and part of the Positive Luxury sustainable network. Our suppliers are also Oeko Tex certified and our manufacturer is audited by amfori BSCI, with both organisations focused on sustainability.
CRUELTY FREE
To protect and preserve Mother Earth’s delicate biodiversity, we are committed to operating as a cruelty-free and vegan company. We have pledged to conduct our business with kindness by not using any materials, processes, or suppliers that use animal-based products or engage in animal testing.
